Ingrid Sörensen and Günter Woost founded Horus Kunstmalerei in Hamburg over 20 years ago.

At that time, it was mainly fabric wallpaper that was painted, as well as wall coverings.

After non-woven wallpaper was developed, Horus Tapeten Manufaktur began painting on this material.

Botho Woost, Ingrid and Günter’s son, took over management in 2016.

Since then, as a designer, he has been developing new, colourful, innovative designs.

The Horus team consists of many long-time employees.

Some of them have been with us for over 18 years.

The manufacturing facility is constantly developing high-quality wallpaper designs with precious and special materials.
